No Pants April. I could get used to this :) One of the big reasons that
I"ve always been a rather *ahem* lazy dresser is I didn't want to get
sucked into this hours long getting ready scenario. Well, guess what?
I've timed it the last 2 days and it takes me an extra 7 minutes to put
on makeup, jewelry and do a little something nicer with my hair.
Granted, I'm not doing anything fancy, but it's a definite upgrade on
the way I have been dressing. I'm already grateful that I've pared down
my jewelry to just a few nice pieces that I've loved over the years to
pair with a couple of newer trendy pieces. I'm grateful that I don't
have tons of make up choices as they tend to overwhelm and paralyze me,
so fewer is better. All in all, NPA is a slam dunk. I've gotten more
compliments in the last 4 days that I have in the past 6 months. I could
get used to that, also. :)
Confession time. The long unfashionable
skirt has made it into rotation already. Today was going to be a crazy
long, crazy busy, crazy need-to-work-and-not-worry-about-my-clothes day,
so I opted to functionality, not so much fashion. But I still wore a
skirt, wore make up and did my hair. So I'm calling it a win.
Outfit:
Long black skirt, Gym Magic Polo, monkey socks and tennies. Hair in
pigtails, covered with black bandana, silver heart drop earrings, gray
and red beaded bracelets.

Really? Only 7 minutes? I can do that. I should try harder with the make up. I like your long black skirt!
Kimberly, yes even when I get fancy, I refuse to spend countless hours primping. So 7 minutes or less and I'm out of the bathroom. I probably spend more time taking a decent photo of myself than the actual getting ready. :)
