Baby Caden: 10 Months Old

This adorable little snow-baby played in the snow for the first time today and loved it! Then he showed me all his new tricks when we had our weekly Skype date. This week he learned how to clap and to hoot like an owl. I {Heart} him so much!

Honestly, the best part of my day was a delightful Skype conversation with 'Shua, Lauren and Caden. I got to make silly faces with the baby, catch up with the grown ups and sing my sweet boy a lullaby...which made Lauren and I both cry. Sweet memories were made. Good stuff.

I've tried not to share more than one photo for each of these posts, and I've also tried to avoid making collages, but these were too cute not to share! As I looked through my SnapChat pics today, I discovered these of DT and Judah from Sunday.

I love-Love-LOVE that my boys love little ones so much! They all take such good care of any little one who passes through our door and our arms.

Please to note that in one of the photos, Judah has fallen asleep. He crawled up on DT's lap and they played until he just conked out. Precious!

The caption on this photo on FB basically said that his mama thought he was vain because he stared at himself in the mirror for so long. Cracked me up, BIG TIME. Vain little babies, they always like to look at themselves. 

In other news, he's growing so fast already that it's breaking my heart. I can't wait to get to IL to hug him so tight. How can you miss someone so much that you've never met?
He's obviously the cutest, smartest, best baby ever born. Amen.

David turned 17 and even though he wouldn't let us sing Happy Birthday to him, he did accept a few presents. A cool new blade from Dad and a butterfly knife from Charlie being the favorites.

David worked up a new resume to pursue being a stunt double like Auntie Jodi, and in a rare splash of goodwill, allowed me to take pictures of him to add to his portfolio. I'll take it!

He even smiled. And what a sweet smile it is :)

And cuter still. Oooooooooooooooo, she is so adorable, I want to gobble her up
